transformation of audio by flocking birds, (conceptual 2005)
over a period of 12 months birds with the ability to imitate sounds, were exposed to various audio material. the recordings were ranging from common IT-noises to quotes of media theorists, to be learned and reproduced within the flock´s society. in a process of cultural evolution the birds transformed the audiomaterial according to their specio-political parameters, in a way remixed it within organic circuitry. the freed birds now form climes and forrests hissing of induced noise
